Band Marking on insulation was created by Archived Forum Admin
We require to produce a Switch Board Cable with band markings on the insulation. The PVC insulation dia over 0.4mm conductor is about 0.8mm. The markings are in red & black colour in different patterns i.e. 1 mark, 2 mark, 3 mark, 4 mark & continuous marks at an interval of about 15-30mm.
Please suggest the suitable method / equipment for applying the band mark over insulation.
Thanks

Hello again Sheks,
a) Go to the Wire Association International Virtual Trade Show at www.wirenet.org/vts/vts_search.cfm
b) Select - Marking Machines - Plastic
c) Submit Query and browse
d) Look for Ring Markers on these web sites:
- Gem Gravure Company, Inc. (USA)
- Medek und Schoerner GmbH (Austria)
e) For solid striping, consider a dual crosshead, a second small vertical extruder and two different colors of plastic.
