Hi group - I'm new to the forum and read through some information - great stuff. I have one question at this time - I need testing by SECRI - does anyone have a contact?

Sounds like and acronym for some countries secret police.

It is Shanghai Electrical Cable research Institute - thanks for the url but that takes you to the suppliers of cable.
I am looking for the test house and have found www.secri.com with no posted email point of contact and seems the voicemail system is not set up for messages.
I appreciate your effort - I'll keep plugging away.

oh by the way when you go the url I listed - the web page is not available in English - I better practice my Mandarin...

If you go to the link I listed when you get there, go to upper right corner and click on ENGLISH. When you get to the English page, you will see Contacts. Don't know if they are the contacts you want but I bet they can get you to the right place. I believe that the Institute is next door to what was Shanghai First Magnet Wire Company which was a part of Shanghai Wire & Cable Group
