Insulation and sheathing material reference was created by Archived Forum Admin
We intend to start production of new products and we find difficulty in determining the right type of the insulation and sheathing for some of these products and their insulation and sheathing material specifications. Our products are UL compliant.
We would like to ask for your assistant in solving this problem. Is there any reference for the type of insulation and sheathing for the products compliant with UL standards? Or is there any way to determine the specifications of the insulation and sheathing of different products?

Hello Singer,
Your request is somewhat vague and quite broad in its requirement thus there are no easy answers.
Your best bet would be to look on the internet at the distributors of the wire and cable in the United States and see what materials these products are made of.
Then you would have to discuss those materials and the requirements with your present material suppliers.
