Quad Cable was created by Archived Forum Admin
Dear,
One of our customer wants a 8 Quad Cable with the center Quad having a Characteristic Impedance of 145 Ù and the other 7 quads of 125 Ù, however the conductor & insulation geometry must be same. Will it be possible.
Please guide.
Regards
Sheks

Hello Sheks,
Assuming your engineers can calculate the characteristic impedance, how do you plan to get a round 7/1 construction without some kind of filler over the center quad?
